SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS


In both 2002 and the spring of 2004, David T. Wilson II was a guest lecturer for the University of Kentucky's continuing legal education program. Mr. Wilson spoke on collecting from Military personnel and other specially situated defendants. The lecture included how to obtain a judgment from members of the Military services, the Soldier's and Sailor's Civil Relief Act, commercial debt garnishment for Federal civilian employees, and involuntary allotment from Military personnel.

On May 7, 2004, May 16, 2005, April 2007, and April 2008 R. Terry Bennett spoke for a continuing legal education seminar entitle Legal Issues Involving Kentucky Local Governments. Mr. Bennet's discussion included municipal employment relations and ethical dilemmas for municipal attorneys.

In January of 2005, Mr. Bennett spoke at continuing legal education seminar entitled Kentucky Probate: Beyond the Basics. His lecture topics included Taking Inventory and Determining Fair Market Value of Special Assets, Ethics In Probate Practice, and Handing Litigation Issues in Probate.

In September of 2005 and November 2007, Mr. Bennett was a presenter for the National Business Institute at legal seminars dealing with Estate Administration. In May 2008, Mr. Bennett spoke at a seminar entitled "Planning for the Non-Taxable Estate."

In the fall of 2005, Mr. Bennett was appointed by the Mayor of the City of Radcliff the Base Realignment and Closure Coordinator for the City of Radcliff as it relates to Fort Knox. Since that time Mr. Bennett has attended numerous BRAC meetings, spoke to many civic and other groups, been interviewed for the newspaper articles, and appeared on radio and television shows.

On September 27, 2006, Donald E. Skeeters spoke at St. Christopher Catholic Church on Wills. In November, 2006, R. Terry Bennett spoke at Valley View Baptist Church on Wills, Powers of Attorneys, and Living Wills.
